About the Author
Jane
Atkinson had it all - great career, home, cottage, family, friends, travel,
but something was missing.
She'd lived in fabulous places like Australia, Vancouver,
Dallas and Calgary. But after years of enjoying all of the exciting
things that life had to bring her, Jane came to realize that her fabulous
view of the Rocky Mountains didn't mean as much when she had no one to share
it with but her cat! And her cat really couldn't appreciate the
mountains.... she was color blind! So Jane decided to search for love,
and she started to date.
She dated..... and dated......and dated......and dated!
Hence, the 99 Frogs - see where this is going?
In fact, one year she went on more than 30 coffee dates,
none of which ended in a relationship of any kind.
So what changed?
Well, first Jane got mad, and then she made a decision.
She was going to stop the cycle of unsuccessful coffee dates or dating-relationship-breakup. She
knew that in order to change the outcome, she would have to change some
things about herself and the way she went about things.
She earmarked the following summer "The Summer of
Fabulous" and put together a plan that would help her find love - and
be open to it.
First, she went to work on herself and her surroundings and she got happy.
She let go of some baggage that she'd lugged around for years. And then,
armed with a new attitude about love, she "took her fabulous self to the streets".

It was shortly after that when Jane met John (aka the Prince) and they were married 1 year
later. Now John didn't ride in on a white horse and save her
(seriously, that's fairy tale nonsense) but Jane uses the Prince and the
Frogs as metaphors to bring the lessons of the story of 99 Frogs
to life. Every frog holds a lesson.
Jane is not a therapist, or psychologist and she
doesn't run a dating service.
She's simply a person who put together a strategy that
worked. And that 3-part process, outlined in 99 Frogs, can help
others (maybe you?) find love.
Jane's background is the world of professional speakers,
where she has been a coach for 6 years and before that an agent for 12
years. She's worked with celebrities and best selling authors to help
boost their speaking careers. Jane's first book, published in 2006, is
called The Wealthy Speaker.
Jane lives in London, Ontario, Canada in her dream home on
the Thames River with John. They live 5 minutes from family and spend
weekends at Lake Huron.
